HOW TO USE: To use Lidocaine cream, wash and dryyour hand properly before applying the cream. Do not consume it. Apply thiscream gently and rub it for some time.If you are using patches use only once and after discard it.

HOW LIDOCAINE WORKS: Lidocaine reduces the pain ofbody by giving the anaesthetic effect. Lidocaine works by blocking the nervesof the particular part where Lidocaine is applied. 

PHARMACOKINETICS: Lidocaine rapidly absorbedthrough the damaged skin but poorly absorbed on the intact skin. Lidocainequickly absorbed in the GI track after the oral administration and thebioavaibility of Lidocaine is 35%. Almost 60-80% of drug binds with the bloodplasma proteins. The half-life of the medicine is between 1.5-2 hours. Only 5%of unchanged drug eliminated through the kidney. 

SIDE EFFECTS OF LIDOCAINE: Lidocaine cause little redness,numbness or swelling on the particular area. If these effects persist tell yourdoctor about it. Take the medical help if you see side effects like slowheartbeats, grey/bluish skin, and trouble in breathing, fever, tiredness. Theallergic reactions are rare but if you see effects like rash, itching orswelling the skin contact your doctor.
