The half-life of Finasteride is between 3-16 hours. Between 32-46% of oral dose excreted by the urination and the remaining dose excreted in feces.

SIDE EFFECTS: Finasteride can decrease the sexual ability in men, it also decrease the sperm quality. Finasteride can cause excessive hair growth and unwanted hair grows. Other side effects like lump in breast, pain in breast, pain in testicles, urination problem. The other rare side effects like rash, dizziness, trouble in breathing, chest pain are also seen in some patients.
