PHARMACOKINETICS OF Nifedipine: Nifedipine is almost absorbed in gastrointestinal tract. The half life of Nifedipine is about 2 hours. Nifedipine is 92-98% protein bound in serum. Peak plasma concentration of Nifedipine is approximately 10mg/ml. Nifedipine is 60% to 80%eliminate by urine.
SIDE EFFECTS OF Nifedipine: Most common side effect of Nifedipine is headaches, dizziness, flushing, a pounding heartbeat,swollen ankles and constipation.
