HOW TO USE:Duloxetine istypically taken once or twice daily with or without food. The starting dose isusually 30 mg to 60 mg once daily. Dosage can be adjusted by a healthcareprovider depending on the condition and patient response.

 

HOW DULOXETINEWORKS:Duloxetineworks by increasing the levels of serotonin and norepinephrine in the centralnervous system. These neurotransmitters are believed to have a positive effecton mood and pain perception, making Duloxetine effective for both mood and paindisorders.

SIDE EFFECTSOF DULOXETINE: The normal side effects caused by Duloxetine Nausea, Dry mouth, Fatigue, Dizziness, Constipation, Insomnia, Increased blood pressure, Decreased appetite, Liver enzyme elevations (rare)

 

PRECAUTIONS: Use with caution inpatients with liver or kidney impairment, history of seizures, or those on MAOinhibitors. Gradual dose reduction is recommended when discontinuing. Monitorfor signs of suicidal thoughts, especially in adolescents and young adults.
