HOW NATEGLINIDE WORKS: Nateglinide is a short actingantihyperglycemic agent which used to decrease the blood glucose level.Nateglinide acts by binding with the B cells of pancreas and by this process itstimulates the insulin from pancreas which inhibits the blood glucose level inbody.

Half-life of Nateglinide is1.5 hours in health person. If you take over dose of Nateglinide it can causehypoglycaemia like effects. 83% of Nateglinide eliminated from body byurination and the remaining residues eliminated by feces.

SIDE EFFECTS OF NATEGLINIDE: Normally Nateglinide cause weight gain of thepatient. Nateglinide cause hypoglycaemia if you take overdose of it or you arealready taking other diabetic medicine along with Nateglinide.
