PHARMACOKINETICS OF FEBUXOSTAT: Febuxostat is takenorally and quickly absorbed in body. Febuxostat only take 1-1.5hrs to reach itsmaximum plasma concentration. Febuxostat is absorbed 85% in body. The half-lifeof Febuxostat is 5-8 hrs. TheFebuxostat isnormally excreted by urination and some residues are excreted by skin.

SIDE EFFECTSOF FEBUXOSTAT: The normal side effect of Febuxostat is nausea and vomiting but if it getsworst contact your doctor. The other side effects like yellowing of eye/skin,dark urine, stomach pain, rash etc. Immediately contact your doctor if you seesome effect like bloody urine, painfulurination, kidney liver damage, troublein breathing, dizziness etc. Febuxostat also cause effects like swelling orpaining of tongue/fingers/throat.
