APPLICATIONSOF BRIVARACETAM:Brivaracetam is used alone and incombination with other medications tocontrol partial onset seizures (seizures that involve only one part of thebrain) in adults, children, and infants 1 month of age and older. Brivaracetam is in a class of medications calledanticonvulsants.

HOWTO USE: It is usually taken with or without food twice daily. Take brivaracetam at around the same times everyday. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask yourdoctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand. Swallow thetablets whole; do not split, chew, or crush them.

HOWBRIVARACETAM WORKS: Brivaracetam is in a class of medications calledanticonvulsants. It works by decreasingabnormal electrical activity in the brain.
